COMTECH's 7.3 Meter Earth Station Antenna is a high performance system ideally suited to those demanding broadcast and low EIRP applications.
The 7.3 Meter System features a Dual Axis Polar Mount, enabling full satellite arc coverage from any location in the continental United States. The motorized option allows for rapid positioning to any satellite in the arc.
The optional EC8 microprocessor control stores up to 500 satellite positions. It features LCD displays of position and visual prompting for up to three axes. Software is contained on a removable 3.5" floppy disk allowing easy program customization. An optional RS232 port can be provided and with optional software package, the antenna can be controlled via phone or personal computer.
The main reflector consists of 20 close tolerance, high strength panels mounted in an aluminum space frame which attaches to a central hub. No field installation alignment of panels is necessary. The reflector panels are constructed of a fiberglass cored laminate with a reflective surface of aluminum cloth for added R.F. performance and reliability.
